Permanent Roofline or Architectural Lighting
Permanent decorative lighting is designed to stay installed throughout the year rather than being removed after a season. Systems may mount along rooflines, soffits or architectural edges and can use controllers or app-based color settings.
Before installation, the product type, total run and planned mounting line should be reviewed. The system needs to fit the actual exterior geometry instead of assuming a straight uninterrupted path around every roof edge.
Mounting Surface, Power and Controller Location
The mounting method depends on the product and exterior surface. Clips, tracks or adhesive systems may be supplied, but weather exposure and access still matter.
Power and controller locations should be identified before the lighting is attached. If the system requires new permanent wiring, circuit work or electrical modifications, that portion needs the appropriate qualified electrical scope instead of being absorbed into the decorative installation.
Permanent System vs Seasonal Lighting
A permanent system stays in place and is typically controlled electronically. Seasonal lighting is temporary and may use different attachment methods, power planning and removal arrangements.
