Confirm Door and Lock Compatibility
A smart lock needs to fit the door before app setup matters. Door thickness, existing bore holes, backset and handing all influence whether the product can replace the current lock without major modification.
We compare the supplied lock with the existing preparation and make normal mechanical adjustments where appropriate. A badly misaligned or damaged door may need General Door Installation & Repair before a new smart lock can operate reliably.
Battery, Hub and Network Requirements
Some smart locks work independently with batteries, while others depend on a hub, Wi-Fi bridge or another home platform. Those requirements should be understood before installation so the correct devices are available.
Basic pairing can be completed when the homeowner has the necessary account and network access. We do not guarantee third-party cloud services or monitoring availability, and we do not take ownership of customer passwords or subscriptions.
Smart Lock vs Camera or Broader Security System
The work is limited to compatible customer-supplied locks and related smart-security devices that can be installed within suitable existing door, power and network conditions.
