Gazebo Kit Size, Material and Model
Gazebo kits can be wood, metal or composite and can range from compact shade structures to large roofed rooms. The model, dimensions and roof system should be identified before assembly.
Large kits need enough space to stage posts, roof panels and hardware around the finished footprint. If the project is custom-designed rather than a manufactured kit, Pavilion, Pergola or Custom Outdoor Structure may be a better fit.
Prepared Base and Site Access
A gazebo should begin on a stable, reasonably level base suited to the product. Slabs, decks and prepared pads all create different anchoring conditions.
Standard assembly assumes that the base already exists. Concrete, grading and structural foundation work should be completed or separately scoped first if the manufacturer requires them.
Frame, Roof Panels and Anchoring
Posts and beams are assembled square before roof panels or rafters are added. The roof sequence matters because a small alignment error at the base can become a larger problem at the ridge.
Anchoring is installed only where the product and prepared surface support the intended method. The assembly does not certify the gazebo for severe-weather loads or replace any project-specific permit or engineering review.
