Start With What Needs to Be Stored
Garage organization works best when the storage plan is based on actual items: tools, sports gear, seasonal bins, garden equipment or household supplies.
Before installing cabinets or racks, identify what should stay accessible and what can be stored high or less frequently. Vehicle clearance and garage-door movement also limit where storage can go.
Cabinets, Wall Storage and Work Areas
Freestanding and wall-mounted cabinets need suitable support and enough clearance for doors or drawers to open. Slatwall, hooks and shelves can handle smaller frequently used items.
A workbench zone may need power or lighting considered separately. We install storage components within the appropriate wall and mounting conditions rather than treating the garage as an empty box.
