Mini-splits can serve one room or several zones connected to an outdoor unit. The number and location of indoor heads affect refrigerant lines, condensate routes and electrical requirements.
Before planning installation or replacement, identify the system configuration and whether existing equipment is being reused. This is not a simple wall-mounted appliance installation.
Indoor Head, Outdoor Unit and Line-Set Conditions
Indoor units need suitable wall space and drainage, while outdoor units require a stable location and clearances.
Refrigerant lines, condensate drains and electrical connections are central to the system. Those regulated HVAC tasks require appropriate qualified capability and should never be implied unless verified.
Repair or Replacement Boundaries
A mini-split that is not heating or cooling may have control, refrigerant, electrical or mechanical faults. Proper diagnosis belongs to qualified HVAC service.
