Existing Tub, Wall and Opening Conditions
Tub enclosures depend on the width, wall condition and level of the tub edge. Framed, semi-frameless and panel systems use different tracks and attachment points.
Before installation, measure the opening at several heights and check whether walls are plumb enough for the product’s adjustment range.
The enclosure should also clear faucets, towel bars and other nearby fixtures. Checking these obstructions before ordering or drilling can prevent a door panel from fitting the opening but failing to operate normally.
Door or Panel Type and Measurement
Sliding doors need parallel tracks and enough overlap, while hinged panels need swing clearance and secure wall support.
The product should be selected around the actual opening rather than assuming a nominal tub width is exact. Tile and wall finishes also affect drilling and anchoring.
Measurements should be taken from the finished surfaces rather than assumed from the nominal tub size. Out-of-plumb walls may require a system with enough adjustment range to close the opening cleanly.

Tracks and seals are adjusted after the frame or panels are aligned so water is directed back toward the tub.
