Identify the Mobility Product and Instructions
Mobility equipment can include manufactured seating, support products or other devices that arrive in components for assembly. The exact model and manufacturer instructions should guide the work.
Ward’s can assemble compatible customer-supplied equipment within the defined mechanical scope. Clinical fitting, prescription and selection of medical equipment are outside this mechanical assembly service.
Assembly, Adjustment and Stable Placement
Frames, handles, seats and supplied adjustment points are assembled according to the manufacturer’s sequence.
We can make normal mechanical adjustments described in the instructions, but not user-specific therapeutic settings that require clinical judgment. The finished product should be placed on a stable surface with the required operating clearance.
Assembly vs Medical Setup or Structural Installation
If the equipment must be permanently attached to the building, powered by new wiring or integrated with a stair or lift system, the project can move beyond simple assembly.
