Inside Mount, Outside Mount or Curtain Hardware
Window treatments need to be matched to the opening and mounting method before holes are drilled. Inside-mount blinds and shades depend on usable depth within the window recess. Outside-mount products need enough wall or trim surface above and beside the opening.
Curtain rods use a different layout because bracket spacing and fabric stack influence the final width. Provide the product type and measurements before installation so the mounting plan can be checked. This service installs customer-supplied treatments and hardware; custom drapery design, fabrication and product sales are separate from the physical installation.
Measure the Opening and Check Obstructions
Accurate installation starts with more than width and height. Window handles, trim, security sensors, tile, radiators and nearby cabinets can affect where brackets fit. For inside-mounted treatments, the top of the recess needs enough clear depth for the headrail.
For outside mounts, the treatment should cover the opening without colliding with adjacent trim or walls. We verify the supplied product against the actual opening before mounting. If the treatment was ordered to the wrong size, installation cannot correct a major measurement error by forcing brackets into a position the product was not designed to use.
Brackets, Headrails and Treatment Alignment
Brackets should be attached to a suitable substrate using hardware appropriate to the wall, trim or window opening. Once the support is secure, the headrail, rod or track can be installed and leveled before the shade, blind or curtain is attached. We test normal raising, lowering or sliding movement and make manufacturer-provided adjustments where available.
Motorized products may include plug-in or battery components that can be set up normally, but new permanent electrical wiring is not part of this service. A damaged mechanism or failed motor belongs to product repair or manufacturer support rather than installation.
