Greenhouse Kit, Size and Glazing Type
Greenhouse kits use aluminum, steel, wood or composite frames with glass, polycarbonate or film panels. The material affects handling and the order of assembly.
Before work begins, confirm the model dimensions, door position and vent components. The finished footprint should have enough room for access and maintenance, not simply enough space for the outer walls.
Prepared Level Base and Access
A greenhouse frame depends on a stable base. Even small changes in level can make doors bind and glazing panels difficult to seat.
Standard kit assembly assumes the foundation or base required by the manufacturer is already prepared. Slabs, timber bases, grading and major drainage work should be separately scoped when needed.
Frame, Panels, Doors and Vents
The main frame is built square before glazing panels are installed. Doors and vent mechanisms are added after the structure is stable so their alignment can be checked against the finished opening.
Electrical heaters, water lines and automated ventilation can introduce utility work beyond assembly. Those systems should be planned separately instead of being assumed as part of putting up the greenhouse shell.
