Product Type, Filled Weight and Final Location
A hot tub, spa and cold plunge can all arrive as self-contained equipment, but their filled weight and service requirements can differ substantially. Before placement, confirm the model dimensions, dry weight, filled weight and the manufacturer’s installation requirements.
The final location should have enough access for delivery and future service. A deck or platform must be suitable for the actual load; that question should be resolved before the equipment is placed.
Prepared Base or Deck Capacity
Concrete slabs, engineered decks and manufacturer-approved pads can all serve as bases when they meet the product requirements. Soft soil or an unverified deck should not be treated as ready simply because the unit fits physically.
Structural capacity must be confirmed for the actual installation. If the support needs engineering, reinforcement or a new foundation, that work must be scoped separately before installation continues.
Electrical, Plumbing and Access Requirements
Many spas require dedicated electrical service, while some cold plunges or self-contained units use different plug-in systems. Water filling, drainage and plumbing needs also vary.
Permanent wiring, breaker work, gas connections and other regulated utilities require the appropriate qualified scope. This service can coordinate equipment placement and manufacturer-defined installation conditions without implying that every utility connection is included.
