Identify the Opening and Mesh System
Mesh can be installed in windows, doors, patio openings or larger enclosure systems, and each uses different frames or tracks. Before installation, identify the opening and whether a complete screen system already exists.
A loose roll of mesh is not enough information for every application. The product needs a compatible frame, spline, track or attachment method designed for the opening.
Frame, Track and Mounting Conditions
The frame needs to fit without blocking the normal operation of the door or window. Sliding systems should move freely in their tracks, while fixed panels need secure attachment without distorting the opening.
Damaged frames, bent tracks or rotted trim should be repaired before new mesh is treated as the final solution.
